Our biochar blends are inoculated for a minimum of three weeks prior to packaging in BPA-free, reusable, 2 gallon containers (container is 10" tall, 9.75" diameter, 4.86" radius.)

How to use: Raised Bed/In-Ground Garden Turn in or till Inoculated Biochar Worm Casting Blend into your new or existing garden or border at least eight inches in depth; 12 inches for optimal effect. For example: 2 gallons amends two square feet to an 8 inch depth. You can use the cubic yard calculator on our topsoil page to get a volume measurement estimate.

How to use: Container, Pot, Grow Bag: Mix in to potting mix before planting. For example: For a five gallon pot or grow bag, add eight cups of Inoculated Biochar Worm Casting Blend for optimal fruit or flower yield. One, two gallon bucket will optimally amend four, five gallon pots or grow bags.

The amount of Inoculated Biochar Worm Casting Blend needed to optimally amend your soil will be equal to 10% of the total soil volume.
